Summer is finally here! I’ve been busy the last weeks, but it has been all worth it! After being away from home for more than 3 months, we’ve been catching up with our band Sensual Noise writing new songs and preparing our upcoming summer tour (excited!).

On 19 June 2011, me and Yordi returned from our Polish adventure in Warsaw. We prepared our final presentation and bought a costume.

On thursday, 23 June 2011 my brother Yordi received the most honored award “Best Deviner 2011” and I proudly received the AdNerds-award :) ! This means I’ll be visiting Brussels at “The Farm” from 8 August till 26 August. If you want to read what it’s all about, you can head over to www.farm2011.be

On friday, 1 July 2011, I’m really proud to tell you I have graduated with high honor! What’s next? Actually, I’m still looking for a nice spot to share my creativity some-where-every-where.

Besides all this good news, I’m curious-ited (curious and excited) what will happen in the future. Yordi and I have started up Twinski which will feature crazy Interactive (with big ‘i’) projects! We already have our hands full with an upcoming community for artists (supported by foantje) and other projects that will kick-off very soon.

With “Chasing Swans” Sensual Noise presents itself more varied, more intense and stronger than ever. Musically “Chasing Swans” is a dynamic puzzle of styles and influences, but thematically it is one whole. In that whole you’ll find subjects such as the liberating aspect of movement, political activism, the need to put things in other perspectives and reflection on itself.

All of these come together in each of the songs, and each track is in this way a different view on the same whole of subjects. In many aspects “Chasing Swans” is a natural evolution in comparision to “Psychedelic Bugtown”. But this doesn’t have to mean that there’s little or no difference at all between both releases, on the contrary.

I’m settled in Warsaw, Poland for three months together with my one and only twin-brother Yordi. We’re doing an exciting international internship at mutli-award-winning and interactive-agency-of-the-year, 180heartbeats (http://www.180hb.com).

1) Me and my bro’ Yordi will be creating a truely unique user experience for the Belgian lads Drums are for parades (http://www.myspace.com/drumsareforparades). They’re an experimental band and extremely motivated.

2) Cindy Frey and Femke Leemans (Me & my ego) will be having a big website-update.

3) Foantje has some big plans about creating an European community for photographers and models. He wants it big and calls in our help. We’re ready for this! Challenge number one for 2011!
